The Butterflies are Blooming

The Butterflies are Blooming!

A couple weeks ago we had a great day at Fredrick Meijer gardens with my mother-in-law, Michelle and the boys. We enjoyed the butterfly exhibit as well as the gardens outside. They have so many fun things for the kids, I can't wait to go again when Bradley is a little older and can appreciate it more. Here are a couple pictures from our time together.

Not the safest toy in the world, but it sure is funny:) Don't worry, we don't let hm play with it unsupervised. The video is a little dark because I grabbed he camera as he started giggling so there was no time to turn on more lights. Also, I can't figure out how to rotate the video, but the sound is what matters:)

4 month appointment

Here is Bradley snoozing after his 4 month check up...we only had to bear 2 shots and 1 oral vaccination. Christopher was there, but I cried right along with Bradley:( Thankfully the tears didn't last long and he was smiling by the time we hit the parking lot. Here are his stats;

26 3/4 in (95th percentile)
15 lbs 2 oz (50th percentile)
17 in head circumference (75th percentile)

so it looks as though he will be tall and lean just like his dad:) Some things we will be tackling this month include rice cereal, baby food and self soothing. All of these should be fun except the self soothing. The doctor said he needs to start putting himself to sleep, including when he wakes up in the middle of the night. No more nursing him back to sleep:( This should prove to be interesting!

4 months old

4 months!

My baby boy is 4 months already, time is flying by way to fast...yesterday I thought about him being able to walk and I freaked out:) I have a feeling I am going to miss this baby stage when it's gone...but I guess we'll just have to have another when that happens!! Bradley is such a little ham, he smiles, laughs and "talks" all the time now. He tries to sit up when he is laying down. He only like tummy time for about a minute and has rolled over 3 times, but I can't get him to do it again. We are having so much fun watching him grow. Monday we go in for his 4 month checkup, and more shots...mommy will be on her own this time so I hope it goes okay!
