4 moths

4 Months Old!
Elise- you are a very happy baby, you smile all the time and you love you brother so much. You smile every time you see him and belly laugh at everything he does:) It's really cute. You are exclusively breasfeed and I am very nervous to give you formula for the first time. Your brother had formula at 3 weeks, mostly because he wanted to eat every hour and I needed a break now and again! But we are leaving on a trip soon and I am afraid I will not have enough stored up for you:( I know you will be fine, I just like you to have organic milk:) Something else to note at this age, you are going through a mommy and daddy phase and unfamiliar faces are not very welcome. You are much happier when either one of us is holding you and you can just look at others! You are finally taking bottles which makes it easier for us to get out once in a while:) You "talk" all the time, you are grabbing everything in sight and are starting to enjoy your exersaucer. You still hate tummy time and have only rolled over once. Happy 4 months baby girl. We fall more and more in love with you every day.

lately

So, I decided I need to be more creative in coming up with more activities and things for Bradley to do. With the weather getting colder and limiting our outdoor activities, it's time to come up with new things to do inside. Today we made a road out of duct tape, wasn't as big of a hit as I had hoped, but it was still fun for a little while:) I have a couple things bookmarked on pintrest...so I will try to blog about them as we do them. Here are a couple pictures of the kids...and as a side note for us to remember, Bradley says new sentences everyday. His new one as of yesterday, What that noise? It's so cute when he says it:) Others...Where dadda go? Dadda at work. Where's the baby? I want fishies. (goldfish crackers)

Elise all bundled up and ready to go outside

Smiles:)

and surprised!

Our Turkeys, Mom and Bradley. Please don't judge how horrible mine is, I didn't put much effort into it as I was trying to keep my two year old from flinging glitter everywhere:)

Happy Thanksgiving a little early!

Duct Tape roads!

I am looking more and more like my daddy everyday...the picture right below is Christopher as a toddler...identical! They even have the same little smerk:)

I love to smile for the camera again..good because mommy loves taking pictures of you!

He was playing hide and seek with Grandma and he fell asleep like this. He was only there for about 10 seconds, he must have been tired!

Growing up fast, Halloween and Turning 2

Bradley, with Halloween came your 2nd Birthday! I can hardly believe we have a 2 year old, as it seems like yesterday I was in the hospital with you. You are changing so much every day and with every day that passes, so does a little of the baby in you:( I will miss every little baby thing you have done or will do and I will miss the "baby look" as that fades away to. Hopefully I have taken enough pictures and blogged enough about it to go back and remember.

You are talking like crazy these days! Every day is a new word and sometimes a new sentence. It's so fun to hear you talk. Our favorite is when you have something to tell us and you ramble on and on with nonsense words, with only a couple real words thrown in here and there:)

You are all boy and wild as can be. You ask all day where your daddy is and constantly remind me that you are going to body slam him when he gets home. You need to get outside daily or you feel cooped up and start going nuts and getting into things you shouldn't.

Aside from all the wildness, you still love to cuddle up with your mom-mom and daddy, and we will take it as long as we can get it.

We love you so much Bradley Bennett! We have been so blessed by you the past 2 years. Happy 2nd Birthday!

Look Who's 2!

And here are a couple 2 year pics I took....

Elise is growing like a weed and is now almost 4 months old. She is a bit of a drama queen in that she gets what she wants, when she wants it or she has a bit of a melt down. She gets over stimulated very easily, and if we are anywhere new, or it's to loud, Chris or I are the only ones she will allow to hold her. (and even then it takes a little bit to calm her down) We are hoping she grows out of this in a hurry. Bradley did this to some extent as well, but not quite as bad. We enjoy watching and interacting with her so much, she has been so alert from day 1. She loves smiling, playing with her doll, talking to mommy and daddy and watching her wild and crazy brother, who is obsessed with her. I hope they continue to like each other this much as the years pass.
